Hi all,

New here, and I want to eventually purchase a cute doll from the orphanage.

I noticed that there wasn't an FAQ thread, so I hope it's ok if I start one with a question of my own.

I'm pretty paranoid about getting a potential shipment seized and I noticed this on the FAQ's of the Doll Orphanage page:

"If you want to minimize the risk of having your doll seized at customs then we can also ship the head of the doll separately and add fake boobs to the body."

I would like a doll with small boobs, and I'm unsure about the meaning of adding fake boobs. Are these removable fake boobs to ensure that the doll doesn't get seized? If so, that's great!

If not, are there other options besides shipping the head and body separately?

I'm excited to be a part of the community!

Thanks!  Big Grin

Hey there and welcome to the community Smile. Glad to hear that you are excited.

If you want a doll with small boobs then you don't need to order fake boobs. And yes removeable fake boobs are there to ensure that the doll doesn't get seized Smile.
Awesome, thank you!

That alleviates some of my concerns and fears ^_^

I'll probably invest in one a few years down the road when I have the funds, and probably get that handy storage sofa to keep it away from prying eyes.
Hey, so I've been looking at all your dolls on your site and the pictures of other people's dolls they've gotton from you both here and on ATF. So far I like what I've seen and a lot of them are really well priced. I was just wondering though, if there are options to put more detail into a TPE body. I understand that by default, they have less detail then a silicon body, but the skin seems a bit... flat in color. Is there a way to add more realistic flush colors across the body?

There is. I can add flush colors across the body. I would have the make up artist do that, so it's possible.
I'm wondering about cleaning TPE dolls

You've told me in a message that it can be done with water spray and baby oil, but what are the details?

What kinds of cloth should be used for the cleaning and drying?

How do you apply the water spray and baby oil, and in what order and in what method?

Thanks!

Hi idontexist7825, I've cleaned a few dolls before and watching this video in the link helped with cleaning the insides of a doll.
 https://youtu.be/JZwSlSuzZFE                                                 (btw It's age restricted)

As for baby oil, I use it more to remove makeup and stains on doll.. I use make up pads made out of cotton with it.

Cleaning and a Drying Doll I use any antibacterial soap or sometimes body wash, bucket of warm water or basin and a cotton wash cloth to clean outside of doll.

I use a bath towel for drying doll

After drying doll I then pat either cornstarch powder from grocery store or use baby powder on doll on outside of doll to get the skin back smooth. If not, the doll's skin will be very sticky and it will pick up lots of debris/dirt.

It's not a perfect solution as I'm still learning myself.. Hope it helps Smile

Excellent advice. Thank you for answering the question for me Smile
